LGBTQ Family Support

As a member of the LGBTQ community I provide education for practitioners on providing better care to LGBTQ families. I also provide sensitive and personalized care and resources to lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, poly, trans and genderqueer parents and families.

LGBTQ Lactation Care

Durham lactation offers personalized lactation care to meet your family's unique needs.

Services include:

- inducing lactation for adoption, surrogacy and coparents

- gender affirming lactation care

- chest feeding after top-surgery

- drying off milk safely

Workshops for Providers

I offer workshops to providers who want to give better care to LGBTQ people on the reproductive spectrum. These workshops are ideal for facilities and providers who pride themselves on diversity but don't know where to begin in meeting our community's unique needs. My workshops and presentations range from teaching the basics of open counselling to the ins and outs of specific lactation protocols. I offer a range of models from 30 minute presentations to learn the basics to in depth day long workshops to practice skills and learn helpful protocols.

Contact me for more information about how I can build a presentation that meets your facilities needs.
